Job Details

MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse responsible for patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe care delivery.
Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Position is a float pool role requiring willingness to float between departments and four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.

Job Requirements

Arizona nursing license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty required.
Cerner EMR experience required.

Schedule Information

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
3 twelve-hour shifts per week (3/12's).
36 hours per week.
Work 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
48-hour guarantee considered.

Unit Specific Information

MS/Telemetry unit.
Patient to nurse ratio: 6:1.

Additional Details

Position is a float pool role covering multiple facilities.
Scrub color: Any color.
