Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position at a Level II Trauma acute care facility in Winchester, TN, requiring Meditech experience and a TN or compact RN license.

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
\n
• 13-week contract
\n
• 44-bed Medical Surgical unit
\n
• Patient ratio of 1:6
\n
• Serves all age groups
\n
• EMR: Meditech experience required
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• On-call as needed; must be able to arrive at the facility within 30–60 minutes if called in
\n
• Floating required as needed
\n
• Level II Trauma facility
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (TN or compact) required
\n
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required prior to start
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
\n
• Meditech EMR experience required
\n
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
\n

• 198-bed acute and skilled care facility licensed for 131 acute beds and 26 skilled care/nursing home beds, fully accredited by The Joint Commission
\n
• Facility features a 10-bed ICU, 12-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, 12-bed Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit, Skilled Nursing Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, five OR suites, and a 13-bay Emergency Room
\n
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
\n
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
\n
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
\n
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
\n
• Scrub color is open; hoodies and casual wear are not permitted
