Description
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Requirements
This position is for an EPIC conversion. Candidates must have EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience. Each work history entry must list the charting system used. No RTO. Start date is firm.
Evening Shift/AUTO OFFER 36 hours per week/Backfill for EPIC must have experience in EPIC and Cerner.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
Department Specific License/Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required
- AHA-PALS: Required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required
