• Location: Weston, WV 26452 (West Virginia nursing jobs)\n
• Facility Type: 70-bed rural acute care and telemetry hospital\n
• Contract Length: 13-week RN contract (extension possible)\n
• Start Date: 12/15/2025\n
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (6:45pm – 7:15am), 3–4 shifts/week\n
• Schedule: Weekdays with every other weekend required\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:5\n
• EMR System: Cerner\n
• Scrubs: Burgundy (not provided)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience\n
• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license considered)\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)\n
• PALS certification preferred\n
• Strong telemetry skills required; pediatric and charge nurse experience preferred\n
• Ability to float to ER, ICU, and OP-Surgery units as needed\n
• Provide at least 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)\n
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (75–100 miles considered case-by-case)\n

\n\nRN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality patient care to adults, geriatrics, adolescents, and occasional pediatric patients\n
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response/code situations\n
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage IVs, feeding tubes, and surgical drains\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services\n
• Float to ER, ICU, and OP-Surgery units to support patient care as needed\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR\n
• Complete orientation and required modules prior to start date\n
