Job Details

Float Pool M/S Tele RN position requiring willingness to float to 8 different units.
Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips.
Must have 2 years of acute care hospital experience and 2 years working as a traveler.
Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours.
Care for ED border patients, medication nurse in acute mental health unit, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients.
Clinician to patient ratio: Days & Eves up to 5:1, Nights up to 6:1.
Bed count: 371; unit census ranges from 8 to 41 beds.
Rotation includes Days/Eves with 1 to 3 rotations to Nights per contract.
Charting system used is EPIC.

Job Requirements

Active Massachusetts RN License required.
2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
2 years of traveler experience required.
Skills required include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, reading telemetry strips, and TR Band experience.

Float Pool RN position requiring floating between 8 different units including Med/Surg Telemetry areas (Davenport 5, 7, 8, 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, Overflow).
Patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health medication patients, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients.
