Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring NH or Compact RN license and recent telemetry and Level 1/2 Trauma experience.

Details\n

\n
• Work in a 39-bed, mixed-acuity Medical/Surgical/Stepdown unit
\n
• Patient population is primarily elderly, ranging from age 18 and up
\n
• RN patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on patient acuity
\n
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• Rotating holiday coverage required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required, with proof of state residency
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience required
\n
• Recent telemetry experience required
\n
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
\n

Additional Information\n

• Provide nursing care across medical, surgical, and stepdown level patients
\n
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
