Saint Francis Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse (NICU) for a high-priority traveler assignment. This leadership role is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical expertise in neonatal intensive care and proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Schedule- Shift Options: Nights/Days
- Hours: 7:00 – 7:30 (AM/PM)
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week
- On-Call: Required
- Serve as the Charge Nurse for the NICU, overseeing daily unit operations during night shifts
- Lead and support nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols
- Coordinate patient care activities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient acuity, staffing assignments, and workflow efficiency
- Provide clinical guidance and act as a resource for bedside nurses
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Respond to critical situations and support rapid decision-making in emergencies
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
- Prior Charge Nurse or leadership experience required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced NICU environment
