American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with orthopedic and cardiac drip experience for a day-shift assignment requiring a compact or Alabama RN license.
Details\n- \n
- Medical Surgical/Orthopedic unit with occasional MS/telemetry overflow \n
- Patient ratios of 1:6-7 \n
- Cardiac drip management required at times, including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone \n
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours from 0700-1930 \n
- Block scheduling may be accommodated \n
- \n
- Active AL or compact RN license required; pending AL license applications accepted \n
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required \n
- ACLS certification preferred \n
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required \n
- Must be proficient in administering cardiac drips (cardizem, tridil, amiodarone) \n
- Two professional references required for consideration \n
- \n
- Provide nursing care to orthopedic and medical/surgical patients, including cardiac telemetry overflow cases as needed \n
- Navy blue scrubs required \n
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Candidates must reside outside a 90-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted \n
- Previous permanent staff are ineligible for travel assignments for 10 years after separation \n
