    Job Details
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
  • Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
  • Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
  • Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
  • Cerner EMR Experience Required.
  • Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment, which must be passed to work on telemetry/med surg unit.
  • While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census and must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour if called in.
    Job Requirements
  • ACLS Required.
  • Cerner EMR Experience Required.

  • Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
  • Traveler must self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during first week to work on telemetry/med surg unit.
    Additional Details
  • BD Screening Attestation required for onboarding.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine required for onboarding; declination accepted.
  • MMR: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal 1 booster or declination accepted.
  • Fit Test completed prior to start; acceptable masks include Moldex 1510, 3M 1860s, 3M 1860, Moldex 1513, 3M 1870+ Respirator.
  • Hepatitis B: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal 1 booster or declination accepted.
  • TB Test: proof of negative test completed in past year or documentation if history of positive test.
  • Health Statement: Physician statement within last 12 months.
  • Driver's License/State ID must be current and not expire during assignment.
  • GRH Background Check within 30 days of start including SS trace and county search for last 7 years.
  • GRH Iowa Adult and Child Abuse state requirement.
  • GRH Education Verification through 3rd party.
  • GRH EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG ran within 30 days of start.
  • 2 Professional References required, 1 must be from Supervisor.
  • GRH Drug Screen within 30 days of start - 9 panel excluding THC.
  • GRH Skills Checklist completed within 12 months.
  • GRH SING ran within 30 days of start.
  • GRH Resume or Profile required.
  • GRH I9 Attestation required.
  • GRH Color Vision required.
  • GRH Contract Employee Data Sheet required.
  • GRH NSO ran within 30 days of start.
  • GRH OFAC ran within 30 days of start.
  • GRH Evergreen Link must be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
  • GRH OSHA Questionnaire must be completed by candidate.
  • Pre-Orientation CBL Acknowledgement required.
  • Influenza Vaccine recommended during season Sept 1 – March 31; vaccine or facility declination accepted.
