Certification Details
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
- Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
- Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
- Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
- Cerner EMR Experience Required.
- Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment, which must be passed to work on telemetry/med surg unit.
- While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census and must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour if called in.

Job Requirements
- Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime.
Schedule Information
- Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
- Traveler must self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during first week to work on telemetry/med surg unit.
Unit Specific Information
- BD Screening Attestation required for onboarding.
- COVID-19 Vaccine required for onboarding; declination accepted.
- MMR: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal 1 booster or declination accepted.
- Fit Test completed prior to start; acceptable masks include Moldex 1510, 3M 1860s, 3M 1860, Moldex 1513, 3M 1870+ Respirator.
- Hepatitis B: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal 1 booster or declination accepted.
- TB Test: proof of negative test completed in past year or documentation if history of positive test.
- Health Statement: Physician statement within last 12 months.
- Driver's License/State ID must be current and not expire during assignment.
- GRH Background Check within 30 days of start including SS trace and county search for last 7 years.
- GRH Iowa Adult and Child Abuse state requirement.
- GRH Education Verification through 3rd party.
- GRH EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG ran within 30 days of start.
- 2 Professional References required, 1 must be from Supervisor.
- GRH Drug Screen within 30 days of start - 9 panel excluding THC.
- GRH Skills Checklist completed within 12 months.
- GRH SING ran within 30 days of start.
- GRH Resume or Profile required.
- GRH I9 Attestation required.
- GRH Color Vision required.
- GRH Contract Employee Data Sheet required.
- GRH NSO ran within 30 days of start.
- GRH OFAC ran within 30 days of start.
- GRH Evergreen Link must be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
- GRH OSHA Questionnaire must be completed by candidate.
- Pre-Orientation CBL Acknowledgement required.
- Influenza Vaccine recommended during season Sept 1 – March 31; vaccine or facility declination accepted.
