\n Duration: 06 months of Contract to FTE
\n Location: Detroit, MI
\n Note: Candidates will be responsible for covering all relocation expenses independently, including travel (airfare), accommodation costs and any other costs.
\n Required Skills:
\n • License - Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan
\n • Certification: BLS
\n • Education: Associate of Science Degree
\n • Must Have: NICU experience. Must be current or within the last year.
\n • Technology: Cerner, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilator, Servo I and U
\n • Note: ICU workers with only long term care facility experience will not work. No CRT candidates.
\n • On Call: No Block Scheduling: Yes.
\n Summary:
\n • Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring and various medical gases therapy to patients.
\n • Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients.
\n • Maintains clinical expertise for Departmental assignments at various business units throughout, as assigned.
\n • Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians and other system employees as needed, regarding patient care needs.
\n • Adequately documents all aspects of patient care.
\n • Supervises, directs and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory orients, externs and students, as assigned.
\n • Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
\n Skills: Required Skills & Experience:
\n • Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
