Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position in Lawton, OK, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and active OK or compact RN licensure.

• Hospital emergency room setting in Lawton, OK
\n
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
\n
• 36 hours per week
\n
• 6 weekend nights required over the course of a 6-week period
\n
• No on-call requirements
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license — Oklahoma state license or compact license required
\n
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA)
\n
• TNCC preferred
\n
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
\n
• Recent travel nursing experience preferred
\n
• Skills checklist current within the last year, pertinent to ER specialty
\n
• 2 supervisory reference forms taken within the last 2 years
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Responsible for identifying medical issues, triaging severity, and providing immediate intervention to patients upon arrival to the emergency room
\n
• Local candidates will be considered, though at a reduced pay rate
\n
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
