Job Requirements\n

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
\n
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN or acute care nursing experience

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
\n
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach
\n

Responsibilities\n

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
\n
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and unit protocols
\n
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive outcomes

• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns as needed

• Maintain accurate charting in MEDITECH and contribute to an efficient, team-oriented care environment
