RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 1:6 patient ratios maintained consistently
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Float requirement - may be required to float to main campus 32 minutes away
\n• No call requirement
\n• Self-scheduling system
\n• 24-hour unit orientation required
\n• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Unit accepts first-time travelers
\n• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
\n• Preferred certifications: ACLS, Telemetry
\n• Dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs
\n• Must be available to work as Storm Team/Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
\n• Must be able to work holidays and work 2 of 3 major holidays
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, dementia, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, CHF, UTI, surgical recovery cases, and renal failure
\n• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line management, wound care, chest tube management, and oxygen administration
\n• Use Pyxis medication system and Epic charting system
