Day shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00); includes weekdays and every other weekend.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 29-bed unit that specializes in caring for adult patients battling cancer, providing palliative care, and offering family education on oncological processes. The RN will be responsible for managing medical and surgical patients, including those with urological and telemetry needs.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Administer chemotherapy and manage the associated care processes.
\n
• Utilize telemetry monitoring for patients as needed.
\n
• Perform central line draws and manage ports, blood administration, and PCA pumps.
\n
• Assist with bone marrow aspirations and manage Pleurx chest tubes.
\n
• Provide patient and family education regarding oncological treatments and care.
\n
• Float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
\n
• WV or Compact RN License required (pending license accepted for submission).
\n
• Current certifications in BLS and ONS/ONCC preferred for chemotherapy administration.
\n
• Experience with telemetry and acute care settings.
\n
• Prior charge nurse experience is a plus.
\n
