Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:
· Willingness to learn and be trained on outdoor lighting assessments and installations in the manner prescribed by the Business.
· Assemble and mount fixtures in prescribed locations, mount transformers and connect low voltage wire runs.
· Run and bury wiring in landscape areas and lawns with care.
· Safely operate a variety of tools including hammer drills, power drills, saws, grinders and other tools as required.
· Safely climb and utilize ladders to perform necessary installation tasks.
· Assess existing low voltage outdoor lighting systems and provide Client with recommendations, in accordance with Business standards.
· Perform repair, cleaning, and adjusting of existing low voltage outdoor lighting systems.
· Communicates with Homeowner/Client upon arrival at work site, to briefly explain/confirm the scope of work to be performed and estimated length of time to complete tasks.
· Problem-solve at the work site and communicate with Business Owner about any changes.
· Clean up of all areas affected by the installation and perform maintenance on all Company tools and equipment used daily on work sites.
· Speak to Homeowner/Client to educate and upsell other products, as applicable.
· Operate company vehicle in a safe manner, maintain a clean and orderly vehicle. Notify management of any vehicle accidents, malfunctions or damages. Maintain a valid driver’s license (no moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years).
· Prepares, correctly completes, and submits reports.
· Promptly inform Business Owner of any team member injury, issues/disputes with Home Owner/Client, damage to structure, or company tools/equipment.
· Participating in on-line and in-person training, as directed by the Business Owner. Successfully pass internal COLT (Certified Outdoor Lighting Technician) training when required by the Business Owner.
· Follow all company polices, safety rules and procedures including all highway traffic laws.
· Receive and follow oral and written instructions from Business Owner.
· Perform other duties that may be assigned, such as admin or marketing activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Landscaping, carpentry and masonry skills are a plus, but not essential.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills that positively benefit team members and Clients.
· Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
· Problem solving skills are a great plus!
· Must be detailed oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· High School degree or equivalent and/or minimum of 1-year experience in a customer service-related industry.
· General knowledge of smartphone apps, email and texting.
· Ability to successfully pass a background check, including a clean driving record, and other pre- employment screening.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Able to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs.
· Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as, lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling the handling of materials.
· Stand or walk for periods of time.
· Stoop, kneel, crouch in awkward positions.
· Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
