Non- Medical Caregiver - Part-time

Home care workers, also known as personal care aides or home health aides, have many duties, including:

• Personal care: Assisting with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, shaving, and oral hygiene
• Housekeeping: Doing laundry, washing dishes, and vacuuming
• Meal preparation: Shopping for groceries, planning meals, and preparing food to meet dietary needs
• Transportation: Arranging transportation to appointments or other outings and more

As an Assistant, you will be integral in providing compassionate caregiving and support to individuals in various settings, including group homes and assisted living facilities. Reporting to the lead caregiver or facility manager, your role encompasses essential tasks such as patient observation, assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), and maintaining a clean environment. Qualifications

• Proven experience in caregiving and patient care
• Knowledge of first aid and emergency response
• Familiarity with assisted living and group home environments
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Experience in cleaning and maintaining a safe living space
• Background in long-term care or social work is a plus
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring
