\nPosition Overview:
\nAs a Travel ED RN, you will provide high-quality emergency care to patients experiencing acute illnesses and injuries. You’ll play a critical role in stabilizing patients, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring timely and effective care in a fast-paced environment.
\nJob Responsibilities:
\n• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with emergency medical conditions
\n• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, interventions, and progress
\n• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
\n• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care
\n• Utilize critical thinking to respond quickly in urgent situations
\n• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions
\n• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with facility protocols
\n
\nEducation and Certification Requirements:
\n• Active RN License (Alabama or Compact State)
\n• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
\n• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required
\n• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred
\n• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – preferred
\n• Minimum Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
