Job Description\n

The Medical Imaging Technologist, under the direction of the Medical Director and Radiologist, performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients. This role utilizes specific modalities to create diagnostic images, ensuring a safe and positive experience for patients.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Perform technical imaging procedures and assist with patient evaluations.
\n
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures as per New York State Department of Health regulations.
\n
• Support learning and teaching as technology evolves.
\n
• Provide patient care that caters to age-specific needs and special characteristics.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Associate Degree in Applied Science – required.
\n
• Diploma in X-Ray – required.
\n
• Graduate of an approved professional academic imaging program – required.
\n
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
\n
• ARRT Registered upon hire – required.
\n
• New York State registration or possess a limited permit to practice in New York upon hire – required.
\n
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certified upon hire – required.
\n

\n\nSchedule\n

\n
• Sunday: 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM
\n
• Monday: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
\n
• Tuesday/Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
\n
• Noon call responsibilities expected.
\n

This is a 13-week contract position.
