Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II trauma facility, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT (R) certification.

  • Acute care Level II trauma facility setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department
  • \n
  • Perform CT scans on both inpatient and outpatient populations across OR and ER settings
  • \n
  • Uses Cerner EMR along with Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT equipment
  • \n
  • C-arms are used in the OR
  • \n
  • 12-hour night shifts on an every-other-weekend (EOW) schedule
  • \n
  • This is a first-to-float position
  • \n
  • Call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview process
  • \n
  • Radiologist coverage in-house until 6 PM, with on-call coverage overnight
  • \n
  • Floor-specific orientation consists of 1-2 shifts in the department
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
  • \n
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • \n
  • Current ARRT (R) certification required
  • \n
  • License required if applicable
  • \n
  • COVID vaccine required
  • \n
  • Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
  • \n
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • \n
  • Must be a self-starter able to work independently, especially given reduced resources on night shift
  • \n

  • Reports to the department manager and team lead
  • \n
  • Teal scrub color required, unless working in the OR where scrubs are provided
  • \n
  • Candidates should be prepared to work holidays as needed
  • \n
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this role
  • \n
  • Night shift staffing includes fewer resources, which can increase the pace and demands of the role
