Work Experience:
\n Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.
\n Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Education:
\n Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
License:
\n Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Preferred in CA
\n Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred
\n Venipuncture certification: Preferred
Certifications:
\n Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
\n Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)
