Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute/Inpatient Rehab

Twin Falls, Idaho

\n

We are seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for a contract opportunity in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role offers a mixed clinical setting with a focus on acute care, inpatient rehab, and skilled rehab, with the possibility of outpatient coverage as needed.

\n

This is a strong fit for an OT who is comfortable working across multiple patient populations and enjoys a collaborative hospital-based rehab environment.

Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Perform occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments.
  • \n
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, independence, safety, and functional recovery.
  • \n
  • Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, medically complex, and rehab-related conditions.
  • \n
  • Common diagnoses may include total joints, strokes, brain injuries, burns, TBI, and med/surg conditions.
  • \n
  • Provide ADL retraining, transfer training, upper extremity rehab, cognitive interventions, and adaptive equipment education.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, PT, SLP, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • \n
  • Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active Idaho OT license required.
  • \n
  • BLS required.
  • \n
  • Acute care, inpatient rehab, or skilled rehab experience preferred.
  • \n
  • Must be comfortable floating between clinical areas as needed.
  • \n
  • Local candidates within 50 miles may be reviewed under local traveler guidelines.
