Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including PET/CT, cardiac stress/rest, HIDA, renal and bone scans, and ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

Minimum Requirements

\n
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or related field.
  • NMTCB or ARRT (NM) certification required.
  • State licensure for Maine required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Experience performing PET/CT, cardiac stress/rest, HIDA, renal, bone, and DEXA-related procedures.
  • Experience with Siemens dual head gamma cameras and GE IQ PET CT preferred.
  • Experience using Cerner EMR and Enterprise Imaging (AGFA) PACS preferred.
  • Dosimeter (dose reader badge) required.
  • Ability to work with ED, outpatient, and inpatient populations.
  • Experience level: Candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered; more experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

\n
  • Prior experience in a hospital imaging department or teaching facility.
  • Familiarity with internal transport processes and working with radiologists on site.
  • Prior orientation or training in PET/CT workflows.

Assignment Details

\n
  • Shift hours typically between 0600 and 1700 with start time rotations between approximately 05:30–06:00 or 07:00.
  • 8–10 hour shifts depending on schedule.
  • No weekends scheduled.
  • No call required.
  • Fixed location; no floating to other facilities.
  • Two-week orientation, dependent on skillset and comfort level.
