Shipping Supervisor

Job Summary

Responsible for Supervision of all shipping/receiving forklift drivers and team leaders on assigned shift. Coordination between all customers and Topre internal departments concerning the shipment of all finished goods including service parts and trial parts.

Duties and Responsibilities (Include any positions reporting directly to this position)

• Daily supervision of all shipping/receiving associates
• Daily coordination between customers and Topre internal departments as needed
• Daily management of all service orders and trial orders as needed to ensure proper shipping
• Management and ordering of all necessary supplies such as cardboard, vci bags, desiccant bags, wooden skids, labels, ribbons, shrink wrap and other supplies necessary to ship product.
• Coordination of the transportation schedule for all shipping of products
• Responsible for upholding all shipping/receiving procedures
• Responsible for ensuring training of all shipping/receiving associates
• If hazardous material, procedures in accordance with ISO 14001 manual must be followed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required

· Basic forklift driving skills

· Basic computer skills

· Detailed oriented

· Organization skills

· 1 year of management(team leader or above) in shipping/receiving managing associates

· Good communication skills

Preferred

· 1 year of management(team leader or above) in shipping/receiving in automotive manufacturing

Credentials (Education and experience necessary to perform the job)

· High school education

· 1 year of management (team leader or above ) in shipping/receiving

Special requirements  Lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional overtime work during week and weekends.
