Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of recent MRI experience and Siemens/GE equipment proficiency for a Level 1 trauma acute care facility.

Details\n
    \n
  • Acute care setting within a Level 1 trauma hospital with 200 beds and 2 MR units in the department
  • \n
  • Outpatient MRI department, primarily staffed by a single tech on weekends
  • \n
  • Performs diagnostic MRI exams including Neuro, MSK, Breast, and Body imaging, with majority of exams being outpatient
  • \n
  • May float to the main hospital as needed
  • \n
  • Uses Epic One Chart, Sectra PACS, and Siemens and GE MR units
  • \n
  • 3x12 hour day shifts, Fri/Sat/Sun, 6am-6pm (or possibly 7am-7pm), 36 hours per pay period
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience required
  • \n
  • ARRT (MR) certification required
  • \n
  • BLS certification through AHA required
  • \n
  • ND state licensure required (NDMIRT) - license required if applicable
  • \n
  • Siemens and GE MRI equipment experience required
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Performs MRI exams exercising professional judgment regarding procedures, MRI safety, and quality patient care
  • \n
  • Breast scans are commonly performed and a female chaperone may not be available
  • \n
  • All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
  • \n
  • Gray scrubs required
  • \n
  • Local candidates may be considered, though a reduced rate applies for those living within 80 miles of the facility
  • \n
  • Candidates with prior employment at any facility within this health system must disclose this information for review
  • \n
