\nRN - IMC
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour variable shifts: day shifts 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or night shifts 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (13-week contract)
\n• Contract ends on Sunday rather than Saturday
\n• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
\n• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
\n• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - may be low censused in 4-hour increments
\n• Patient ratio: 4:1
\n• Work in 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
\n• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeding, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
\n• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
\n• Fast-paced unit requiring independent work and timely task completion
\n• Must have 2+ years nursing experience (firm requirement)
\n• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required
\n• ICU experience preferred
\n• Trauma Level II experience preferred
\n• Ventilator/Trach experience required
\n• At least 1 prior travel experience required
\n• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
\n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
\n• EPIC charting experience preferred
\n• Any color scrubs permitted
\n• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
\n• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccinations
