We are more than products, we are a team of inspired people doing extraordinary things./pp/ppbYour Opportunity/b:/ppAs a 3rd Shift Automation and Controls Technician I for Greenheck Group, you will be responsible for providing an advanced level of expertise related to the highly technical production equipment, electrical controls, and lasers that enable us to be a worldwide leader in our industry. This is done to ensure the quality and comfort of air in buildings around the world. Greenheck’s manufacturing environment is as technically advanced as the products we manufacture. To support operations, the Automation and Controls Team provides round-the-clock service. The team occasionally works overtime and is responsive to unforeseen situations which may cause a change in schedule./pp/ppbWhat you’ll be doing:/b/pullipbTroubleshooting:/b/p/li/ulpBasic electrical troubleshooting of circuits and electromechanical systems/ppTroubleshoot basic electric controls for hydraulic systems/ppTroubleshoot basic system operations and perform calibrations/ppPerform basic laser application checks and resolve basic cutting issues/pullipbSafety:/b/p/li/ulpRemains up to date of all manufacturing safety practices and compliance items./pullipbGeneral:/b/p/li/ulpRespond to production and maintenance requests within the scope of training an experience/ppFollow up with work done to ensure proper operation and repairs/ppMaintain a professional appearance and attitude/ppParticipate in maintaining 5S activities for area/ppComplete basic preventative maintenance tasks as assigned/ppOccasional on call responsibilities on an as-needed basis/ppOccasional planned domestic travel for training, support, and preventative maintenance tasks/ppOccasionally participate in GPS events and other continuous improvement activities/pullipbCommunication:/b/p/li/ulpMaintain a professional line of verbal communication to stakeholders and team members/ppCommunicate important changes and work done/ppDocument work done in CMMS and critical work done in shift reports/ppDocument asset changes in electronics and hard copy asset documents/ppReport any complications or issues to Aamp;C technical lead or immediate Supervisor/pullipbProjects:/b/p/li/ulpManage basic project work/ppAssist team with complex projects/ppSubmit part requests and occasionally order parts and tools/ppAssist OEM technical service with on-site support/ppDocument work and time and charge parts used against work orders/pp/ppbWhat you should have:/b/pullip0-2 years of relevant work experience in industrial equipment, power distribution, automation in a manufacturing environment is required./p/lilip2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field or equivalent years of job experience is required./p/lilipLight engineering, Project Management, and Troubleshooting skills is preferred./p/lilipGood communication skills, quality, and safety-oriented team player, flexible, avid learner, ability to listen to others. A person who asks questions and is eager to learn the Greenheck Group way of operations.
