This part-time position offers the opportunity to work with skaters of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to competitive athletes. Instructors will lead Learn-to-Skate classes, provide private and group lessons, and assist with special events, camps, and ice shows.nbsp;/ppnbsp;/pulliTeach group and private figure skating lessons in accordance with ISI or LTS USA programs./liliDevelop and implement training plans to help skaters improve technique and performance./liliAssist in organizing and choreographing ice shows, competitions, and special events./liliProvide a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for all students./liliCommunicate effectively with skaters, parents, and staff./liliMaintain professional certifications and complete required safety training./li/ulpbr//ppstrongJob Type:/strong Part-time, no benefits/ppstrongHourly Pay:/strong $15+ per hour (based on experience)/ppOpportunity to build a private lesson clientele over time/ppRequirements/pullinbsp;CPR and First Aid Certified or ability to complete within 3 months of employment./lilinbsp;Complete continuing education and staff training annually./lilinbsp;Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings amp; weekends) for Learn to Skate Classes,Special Events, and Camps./lilinbsp;Ability to develop recreational and competitive level skaters./lilinbsp;Complete Safesport training or provide certificate of completion./lilinbsp;Complete CDC Online Concussion Training within 3 months of employment./lilinbsp;Team oriented./lilinbsp;Enjoy working with children and families./lilinbsp;Strong leadership skills./lilinbsp;Reliable./lilinbsp;Excellent organizational skills./lilinbsp;Strong work ethic./liliPreferred 3 plus years experience teaching Learn to Skate classes and competition level skaters/liliin the ISI or LTS USA Programs./liliExperience coaching all levels of skating preferred./liliHigh School graduate./liliBachelor’s degree in related field and/or certifications in related field preferred./liliHold or obtain at least two professional memberships within 3 months of employment./liliHold valid coaching liability insurance./li/ulpbr//p
