As a dining room server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is memorable. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you!

A quality candidate will exude the professionalism and confidence of a table-experienced server. You must be a team player with good communication skills. A person in this role needs to be highly organized and able to think critically. A positive, “can do” attitude and solid work ethic is required! The candidate we are seeking will report to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform and always practices good personal hygiene. Quality customer service is expected to be provided at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job is a requirement of the position. You will benefit from existing systems and individual training and there is ample room for you to expand your culinary/service skills. This is a seasonal position, with an opportunity for yearlong employment. Rest assured; you will be challenged by a fast paced, high-energy environment while being compensated well for your efforts.

Below is a general list of daily requirements and qualifications for the position.

Responsibilities:

- Provide friendly and efficient service, in a timely manner according to company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards. You MUST show a desire to please with your genuine hospitality, personality and specific suggestions at every step.

- Look like a professional and show sincerity with a positive, friendly attitude.

- Actively engage guests who have concerns and remedy them. Ensure that each Guest is 100% satisfied with their dining experience.

- Welcomes guests in a courteous and respectable way with a non-scripted greeting.

- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options. Using acquired menu knowledge, offer menu suggestions, answer questions and anticipate guests’ needs.

- Enter orders into the POS system or utilize handheld devices for order processing

- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner

- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal

- Clear tables and clean the dining area after guests have finished their meals

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area.

- Runs food for all servers to ensure hot food is served hot

- Anticipates, identifies and corrects system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.

- In addition, all tavern employees are responsible for safely performing other, reasonably assigned, duties to maximize guest satisfaction and quality of work environment as directed by your chef and/or tavern manager.

Qualifications:

- WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST!

- MUST be nineteen [19] years old, as you will be serving alcohol.

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred

- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service

- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions and calculating bills

- Familiarity with POS systems, Clover, or other reservation software is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Can meet physical demands of position including pulling, pushing, carrying, lifting, standing for extended periods of time
