h2What are the core responsibilities for the role?/h2
divulli!--block--Field Laboratory Technicians must be experienced in and be able to apply the NMDOT’s minimum testing guidelines and test procedures, including but not limited to, soils and asphalt field laboratories. Field Laboratory Technicians performing testing for acceptance (including process control tests are used for acceptance as set forth in the New Mexico Department of Transportation Standard Specification for Highway and Bridge Construction) must be certified by the ACNM/NMDOT New Mexico Technician Training and Certification Program in soils, aggregates, concrete, HMA/WMA./lili!--block--Must be able to sample and test in accordance with the Department’s Standard Specifications for the following materials: HMA/WMA, OGFC, Concrete, Soils and Aggregates./lili!--block--Ensure that all samples are taken for acceptance testing and submit results to the Project Manager in accordance with the Department’s Standard Specifications./lili!--block--Prepare and complete the appropriate Department accepted forms related to these activities. Maintain files for all laboratory documentation./lili!--block--Perform all materials testing in accordance with TTCP test methods or as modified by the New Mexico Department of Transportation.brbr/li/ul/div

Additional schooling or training is a plusnbsp;/lili!--block--Solid work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a team-player attitudenbsp;/lili!--block--Excellent attention to detailnbsp;/lili!--block--Must be able to quickly grasp new technologiesnbsp;/lili!--block--Able to travel for tasks throughout the statenbsp;/lili!--block--Good driving skills and a clean driving recordnbsp;/lili!--block--Able to work in teams and get along with coworkersnbsp;/lili!--block--Work with clients in a professional mannernbsp;/li/uldiv!--block--br/div/div
