ul li class="MsoPlainText"spanspanAssists in providing clinical care to office patients as delegated by supervising provider/span/span/li li class="MsoBodyText"spanspanManages provider’s daily schedule and patient flow to expedite care and maximize clinical time  /span/span/li lispanspanspanGreets and escorts patients to exam rooms, and checks two-patient identifiers  /span/span/span/li lispanspanspanCommunicates status of delegated task completion to supervising provider/span/span/span/li lispanspanspanObtains relevant information and takes vital signs as indicated (i.e. height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation)/span/span/span/li lispanspanspanInputs pertinent clinical information into the electronic health record timely and with accuracy and collects home medication lists /span/span/span/li lispanspanspanAssists clinicians with clinical procedures and/or additional tests specific to the department. Keeps patients informed of visit status, unforeseen delays and other relevant information pertaining to the patient’s visit  /span/span/span/li lispanspanspanPrepare and maintain exam rooms for patient arrivals.  Clean and/or maintain inventory of supplies (medical included) and equipment throughout the practice.
