pbuPrimary Duties amp; Responsibilities/u/b/p ul liPrime duties include can include etching, lapping, polishing, cleaning, mounting, loading furnaces, reporting, and data entry./li liEnsure that processing steps adhere to specifications and identifying any deviations./li liMaintain accurate log of process parameters and enter into the data base, as instructed by the Production Supervisor./li liEnsure precise record keeping and timely report out of the performance of the process./li liAdhere to safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate safety equipment./li liCross-train in other departments in order to expand skill set and contribute to the overall efficiency of the production process./li liWork on special projects as assigned and directed by Production Supervisor./li /ul pbuEducation amp; Experience/u/b/p ul liHigh school graduate.nbsp;/li liStrong math skills./li liManufacturing experience is preferred.nbsp;/li liExperience with problem analysis and resolution/li liExcellent interpersonal and communication skills/li liExperience with networked PC based computer system (MS Office, spreadsheets, access, graphics, Email, MRP systems, and accounting software/li liMust be technically inclined with good mechanical skills./li liMust have the aptitude to make decisions that affect downstream process quality./li liMust have strong mathematical skills./li liMust be comfortable working with and around chemicals (safety training is provided)./li /ul pbuSkills/u/b/p ul liMust be well organized./li liMust have high attention to detail./li liMust have a willingness to cross-train and expand current skill set./li liMust be flexible in order to react positively to quickly changing work conditions./li liMust have competence in quality control procedures to ensure product meets both organization and industry standards./li liMust have knowledge and competency in computer-aided manufacturing.nbsp; make data entry./li liAbility to handle multiple priorities involving external and internal priorities/li liAbility to work in a cross cultural, team-based environment./li liDisplay and lead by example, the proper behaviors that support the company values./li liUnderstanding of how to monitor inventory levels adequately to ensure the availability of the required resources and the attainment of production goals./li liAbility to work 12-hour shifts./li /ul pbuPhysical Requirements/u/b/p ul liCandidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds/li /ul pbuSafety Requirements/u/b/p pspanAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
