This position reports to the Springfield, MO Office and services the area within a 75 mile radius of the DFW office/p h1span style="font-size:14px"span style="color:#27ae60"ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES/span/span/h1 ul liInstalls and troubleshoots low voltage panels, wiring, and associated devices./li liProvides reliable and high-quality customer support./li liMaintain company vehicle in a clean and organized manner and maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory./li liAdjust units based on room structures and manufacturer#39;s recommendations/li liUtilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks./li liFeed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; then position cables, wires, and strappings when needed./li liDrill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, and floors by safely operating hand and power tools./li liMaintains documentation of service and hours worked./li liLeveraging company software, completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and documentation in a timely manner./li liInspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures./li liInstall, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans./li liComply with industry-standard and company-specific safety guidelines./li liProvides customer instruction on system operation and functionality./li liPerforms system testing, troubleshooting, and signal verification./li liMaintain and use PPE in the prescribed manner./li /ul h4Qualifications/h4brh1span style="font-size:14px"span style="color:#27ae60"JOB QUALIFICATIONS/span/span/h1 ul liMinimum of High School Diploma or equivalent and Vocational Training./li liMust have at least 4 or more years of experience./li liMust have knowledge of intrusion systems./li liKnowledge of a wide range of alarm panels./li liKnowledge of fire systems, CCTV, and intercom access control systems, a plus./li liMust have a strong understanding of local/national codes./li liAbility to diagnose basic problems and read/understand basic blueprints./li liGood written and verbal communication skills./li liAbility to determine and implement resolution to complex field situations./li liValid driver#39;s license and good driving record./li /ul h1span style="font-size:14px"span style="color:#27ae60"REQUIRED SKILLS/span/span/h1 ul liSelf-motivated and able to work independently taking initiative in identifying and resolving problems./li liExcellent interpersonal skills./li liExceptional written and verbal communication skills./li liProven team-building skills, shares knowledge, and is easily coachable./li liAptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers./li liStrong analytical and negotiation skills./li liKnowledge of SalesForce.com is a plus or willingness and ability to learn/li /ul h1nbsp;/h1 h1span style="font-size:14px"span style="color:#27ae60"PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/span/span/h1 ul liWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk amp; hear./li liUse vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color./li liSometimes work in difficult positions/circumstances with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc./li liLift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs./li liMust be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods./li /ul
