This role involves conducting employee ingress and egress using a walkthrough metal detector, monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to security threats, and enforcing company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong command presence and observational skills, a commitment to maintaining a secure environment, and the ability to respond to incidents promptly and professionally./p pstrongEssential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:/strong/p ul liMonitor and control employee access points to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel enter./li liConduct regular patrols of the facilities to identify and address potential security risks./li liRespond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity./li liEnforce rules and regulations about property security and safety./li liOperate and monitor security systems, such as radio and PDA devices, alarms, and access control systems, such as walkthrough and handheld metal detectors./li liWrite or electronically submit daily activity reports detailing all incidents, risks, or unusual occurrences./li liCoordinate with law enforcement or emergency response teams when necessary./li liConduct initial investigations and preserve evidence when responding to security breaches./li liAssist employees, guests, or visitors courteously and professionally./li /ul pstrongRequirements for this position:/strong/p ul liMust have a valid security officer license or certification./li liMust pass a 20 year FBI background check and airport badging requirements./li liMust pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and random tests throughout the time of employment.
