pbrstrongMake a Difference/strongbrThe Senior Patient Care Technician works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs direct patient care such as bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, and vital signs. Transports patients and patient-related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Greets and orients patients to the patient care area. Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions. Provides additional select care to patients. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed./p

liHigh School diploma or GED required/li
liAbility to use a computer for documentation and work related purposes/li
liStrong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills are required./li
liDemonstrates accountability for own actions/li
liProvides service in a willing and courteous manner/li
liDemonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task./li
liAble to take direction well, but also be self-directed and motivated./li
liRequires a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness. /li
liDeal effectively with patients, visitors, situations, and other Care Team members, while maintaining emotional control/li
