pstrongQualification Highlights/strong/p ul liMust have the ability to weld in 2g, 4g, and 6g conditions./li liMust be able to Stick and Tig weld on Pipe./li liMust successfully pass a weld test./li liMust have 4+ years of industrial welding experience./li liMust have all required knowledge, skills, and abilities./li liMust be able to meet all physical requirements./li liMust have all the tools listed below on start date./li /ulh3Responsibilities/h3divpstrongPosition Responsibilities/strong/p ul liSelects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage, and welding techniques./li liLayout, position, aligns, cut, assemble, and fit metal components together in various body positions and in various places./li liBolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding./li liSets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas arc welding equipment./li liWeld metal materials to piping systems equipment using the appropriate welding procedure for the various equipment and metal types involved./li liIdentify all equipment for job and process./li liIdentify all safety risks and requirements./li /ul/divh3Qualifications/h3divpstrongRequired Qualificationsnbsp;/strong/p ul liMust be able to read blueprints and other engineering drawings in order to perform efficiently./li liMust be able to read and interrupt technical manuals as applicable./li liMust have 4+ years’ of experience welding on industrial size and grade pipe. (Schedules: 40, 80, and 160)/li liMust have the ability to weld in 2g, 4g, and 6g conditions./li liMust be able to Stick and Tig weld on Pipe./li liMust have a thorough knowledge of various metals characteristic and qualities including the correct welding processes required and the effects of welding on the material./li liMust successfully pass a weld test.nbsp;/li liMust have experience welding multiple types of pipe including but not limited to carbon steel, stainless, and chrome./li liMust be able to assist pipe fitters in pipe installation, preparation, and fabrication while not actively welding./li liMust have reliable transportation./li liMust be able to work at heights as required./li /ul pnbsp;/p pstrongPreferred Additional Qualification/strong/p ul liCurrent Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee./li liFormer experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc./li liPrevious experience in this position with Zachry Industrial, Inc./li liCurrent Zachry Certification./li liExperience working as an Industrial Pipe Fitter./li liFormer experience working on a new construction project./li /ul pnbsp;/p pstrongReporting to:/strong/p ul liThis position does not have any direct reports./li /ul pnbsp;/p pstrongPhysical Requirements/strong/p ul liEmployee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.nbsp;/li liWill talk and hear to communicate.nbsp;/li liWill use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull:nbsp; objects, materials, controls and tools.nbsp;/li liMay be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.nbsp;/li liWill work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.nbsp;/li liMust be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE./li liWill be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.nbsp;/li /ul pstrongWeld Test/Certification Required/strong/p pHBZ-651x, HBZ-600x, HBZ-201x/p pnbsp;/p pstrongRequired Tools list to be provided./strong/p pnbsp;/p pstrongZACHRY is dedicated to providing a Safe and Drug-Free work environment and is an Equal Opportunity Employer./strong/p pnbsp;/p/div
