This role may include performing analysis for In-process support, environmental monitoring, as well as testing compressed air and nitrogen for all API buildings. Responsibilities involve ensuring adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), carrying out second person verification (SPV) of analytical data, assisting in laboratory investigations, and performing equipment calibrations and maintenance in accordance with established protocols and procedures. Additionally, the technician identifies and communicates potential improvements within the lab by adhering to Lilly CCI/Lean standards and ensures that monitoring frequencies comply with procedural requirements./ppbKey Objectives/Deliverables:/b/ppbSample Analysis and Reporting:/b /pulliAccurately and safely perform analytical test methods or related support activities as per procedures or protocols./liliReview analytical data to ensure that results conform to standards./liliPerform data entry and review own work for accuracy in accordance with laboratory procedures, standards, and GMP requirements./liliRecognize deviations from procedures and initiate investigations./liliVerify (SPV) analytical data of other analysts within the lab as required./liliEnsure complete and effective monitoring data using electronic systems or paper documents./liliSupport other areas with Environmental Monitoring, perform environmental monitoring sampling, including non-viable, viable, surface sampling, and personnel monitoring. Participate in Environmental Monitoring Performance Qualification (EMPQ) execution./liliSupport a constant state of inspection-readiness./li/ulpbContinuous Improvement Initiatives:/b /pulliIdentify and communicate opportunities for improvement initiatives in daily work activities./liliFollow Lilly standards for CCI/Lean and support departmental or site continuous improvement initiatives./li/ulpbLab Operations:/b /pulliTrain and mentor others within the lab./liliExecute notifications to management when required by procedures or standards./liliPerform routine equipment qualifications/calibrations or maintenance through execution of well-defined protocols.
