May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.  Maintains compounding area according to USP standards and LSBME regulations.  /pp/ppubFUNCTIONS:/b/u/pp1.    Preparing prescription orders accurately and efficiently, verifying prescription information and dosage /pp2.    Providing quality customer service to patients and other healthcare providersbr /3.    Maintaining inventory amp; maintains a safe and clean dispensary br /4.    Maintaining records by recording and filing physician’s orders and prescriptions/pp5.    Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing goals, seeking opportunities for development, and promoting a positive environment/pp/ppubQUALIFICATIONS:/b/u/ppGraduate of a National Board-Certified Technician Certification program./ppActive Pharmacy Technician license through the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy. /ppClinic pharmacy experience highly preferred./ppSterile Compounding experience highly preferred./p
