pQuad is seeking Saddle Stitch Operators for the Lomira,nbsp;WI plant.nbsp; strongExperience with Muller Martini 12-40 pocket machines or Goss 855's with 40 pocket capabilities is highly desirable/strong.nbsp;nbsp; iWill consider candidates that have run other types of Saddle Stitch equipment as wellstrong./strong/istrongnbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/strong/p
pstrongJob Duties include but are not limited to:/strong/p
ul
liOperate machine effectively and safely according to standards to ensure a qualitynbsp;product./li
liPerform and document preventative and routine maintenance as needed ornbsp;assigned./li
liMake ready the stacker, tiers, mail head, mailnbsp;control./li
liMake ready and run all aspects of the saddle stitcher (pockets, gatherer, stitcher heads, in feed, trimmer, mail table, and mail head, etc.…)./li
liMake-ready and run demographic and inkjet./li
liFill in for other master operators when needed./li
liAssist other master operators with start-ups as possible when their line isnbsp;down./li
liSupport material handlers during continuous and self-supported running (including mail-sacking, skid stacking, pocket filling, cover filling, etc.) and give work direction during downtime andnbsp;clean-up./li
liRead and understand binding instructions, mailing instructions, and support the BCS system./li
liEnsure proper functioning of safety devices (i.e. guards, stop buttons)/li
liMaintain a safe and clean work environment./li
liPerform additional tasks as needed ornbsp;assigned.nbsp;/li

pstrongQualifications/strong/p
ul
liDemonstrated skill in mechanics/mechanicalnbsp;aptitude./li
liAbility to read and interpret binding/mailing instructions and operating/maintenancenbsp;manuals./li
liKnowledge of department safety practices./li
liGood understanding of all Bindery functions/procedures./li
liGood understanding of the co-palletization process, demographics, and selective binding processes./li
liGood understanding of primary causes and remedies for various quality problems./li
liAbility to recognize, identify, analyze, and communicate problem situations and/ornbsp;factors./li
liBasic computer skills including a good understanding of the BCS System./li
liWillingness to move to other machines./li
liWillingness to work overtime on unscheduled days./li
liGood organizational and time management skills./li
liStrong communication skills; both oral and written./li
liAbility to work easily and productively with others and with minimal supervision./li
liYou will work a compressed 3 and 4-day work week geared toward balancing work and family life (12-hour shift (either 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.) including weekends, and holidays).nbsp;/li
liEssential functions of this job include the following: the ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision to identify defects./li
