This position will assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP#39;S, work instructions, and SQF requirements are in compliance./strong/pp id="isPasted"stronguRoles and Responsibilities/u/strong/pulliMust follow safety guidelines, wear designated personal protective equipment and meet OSHA safety requirements.nbsp;/liliSupports and adheres to all Hoodrsquo;s procedures and protocols/liliContinuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member./liliProvides feedback to the shift lead and supervisor on equipment or production issues./liliEnsures all environmental standards and requirements are met/liliSets-up machine to specifications outlined on the order/liliSets-up machine to standard set-up time amp; procedure/liliOperates machine to standard production target and waste target/liliTrouble shoots machine when it is down or not performing to standard/liliAssists maintenance with machine repairs and preventive maintenance/liliResponsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and proceduresnbsp;/liliContinuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member/liliEnsures work area is kept clean according to facility/corporate standards/liliAdhere to all GMPs, compliance/regulatory mandates and quality requirements.nbsp;/liliCleans machine and area according to schedule/liliPerforms inspections per Quality Procedure/liliCompletes all required tracking forms (Job Plan, Shift Run Report, Quality Sheet, and checklists)/liliEnsures pre-setup tasks are completed for each order./liliInitiates and supports improvement initiatives/liliOperate and maintain assigned line to maintain safety, quality and productivity in a 24/7 facility working 12 hour rotating shifts/liliOther duties as instructed by Supervisor or Lead/li/ulp id="isPasted"stronguQualifications/u/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma with 2+ years in general warehouse operations.nbsp;/liliAbility to read and understand simple written materials. nbsp;/liliAbility to write simple statements and numbers.nbsp;/liliAbility to perform arithmetic calculations with fractions and decimals./liliPrevious Operator experience preferred as well as minor mechanical troubleshooting experience./liliAverage dexterity and coordination.
