This position will assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP#39;S, work instructions, and SQF requirements are in compliance./strong/pp id="isPasted"stronguRoles and responsibilities/u/strong/pulliRead orders, select proper resins and additives.nbsp;/liliOperate extruders and resin-handling equipment./liliOperate extruders at maximum output with minimum scrap generated./liliMake necessary quality checks utilizing micrometer, and dyne test solutions./liliKeep all necessary records including production, quality control, time utilization and material usage./liliClean dyes, changes dyes and screen packs./liliResponsible for routine operating maintenance./liliResponsible for labeling material and moving rolls and carts to staging area./liliAbide by all rules and procedures that govern the extrusion department./liliSupport and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards. nbsp;/li/ulp id="isPasted"stronguQualifications/u/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma with 2+ years in general warehouse operations.nbsp;/liliAbility to read and understand simple written materials. nbsp;/liliAbility to write simple statements and numbers.nbsp;/liliAbility to perform arithmetic calculations with fractions and decimals./liliPrevious blown film extrusion experience preferred as well as minor mechanical troubleshooting experience./liliAverage dexterity and coordination. Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50lbs.nbsp;/liliFrequent mental/visual attention to monitor extruder operation.nbsp;/liliAbility to distinguish colors./liliMust be able to work in a team environment. nbsp;/liliMust adhere to plant safety and housekeeping standards./liliGood time management and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines./liliAnalytical and critical thinking skills/liliAbility to quickly assimilate new procedures and industry advances./li/ul/div/div/div
