pubJob Description/b/u/ppThe Community Ambassador is at the forefront of the community and responsible for delivering exceptional service to prospective and current residents to help maximize occupancy year over year. This role will guide prospective residents through the leasing process, assist in planning and participate in marketing and community events, and meet sales goals as outlined by the Leasing amp; Marketing Manager and Community Manager. You must be able to communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and manage your time efficiently./pp/ppbReports to:/b Community Manager/ppbDirect Reports: /bNone/pp/ppbDuties/Responsibilities:/b The duties listed below are an outline of the Community Ambassador’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the community change, these duties may be modified as needed./pp/ppbLeasing, Marketing, amp; Resident Experience/b/pulliUnderstand the Housing Contract and all related addendums and be able to clearly communicate all information to prospective residents, residents, and guarantors./liliConduct all tasks necessary to close the sale in accordance with LEASE Training guidelines including:ulliGenerating new leads/liliCompleting guest cards/liliScheduling amp; conducting tours/liliLead follow up/li/ul/liliAssist in promoting the community via social media platforms and participating in on- and off-campus marketing events./liliAssist with email and text campaigns in Entrata and TextUs./liliRepresent the community and Landmark Properties in a professional manner. /liliMaintain a positive community environment and encourage participation in Residence Life activities./liliAssist in resolving resident concerns/conflict by escalating to the appropriate manager./li/ulp/ppbProperty Operations/b/pulliPerform daily opening and closing checklists, including model amp; tour route inspection, performing housekeeping as needed./liliAttend and contribute to Landmark Lineup and required staff meetings./liliRespond to internet and telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner./liliEnter Maintenance Requests, as needed./liliKeep detailed activity logs in prospect and resident accounts./liliLabel amp; log packages and send resident notifications./liliEnforce community policies and procedures in accordance with the Housing Contract and report any Housing Contract violations to the Community Manager./liliAdhere and comply with corporate procedures and government laws on Fair Housing./li/ululliParticipate in all Turn-related activities including:ulliMove-in and Move-out days/liliUnit inspections/liliTrash-outs/li/ul/li/ulp/ppbEducation amp; Experience/b/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredb./b/liliEnrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in a relevant major such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Information Technology, Public Relations, etc. preferred./li/ulp/ppbPreferred Knowledge, Skills, amp; Abilities/b/pulliMust possess strong organization skills./liliMust be reliable and have self-discipline./liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software./liliAbility to work evening and weekend hours, including resident lockouts as needed./liliMust be available to work during summer and Turn period./li/ulp/ppbWork Environment/b/pulliThe work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
