You must be 18 years old and have reliable transportation./i/pp/ppubResponsibilities: /b/u/pulliClean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum/backpack vacuum (9-12 lbs.)/lilisweeping, mopping and scrubbing./liliStrip and wax various flooring surfaces./liliMove furniture as needed to access flooring surfaces./liliEnsure proper labeling and use of all cleaning chemicals available./liliMaintains flooring equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition./liliOperates specialized equipment as needed./liliPrevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures./liliDrive a culture of constant improvement, identifying projects to increase effectiveness and efficiency./liliAbide by and enforce Sizemore’s and client’s policies and procedures as needed./liliOther tasks may be assigned as required./li/ulp/ppbuQualifications: /u/b/pulliHigh school graduate or recipient of GED./lilibspanat least 6 months of floor tech experience either on a riding floor scrubber or a stand behind floor scrubber./span/b/liliPrevious janitorial related experience is desirable./liliDemonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor./liliPossess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy when dealing with any person no matter the circumstances./liliPossess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations./liliAbility to multitask and work under pressure in potential stressful and time sensitive situations./liliPossess good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize./liliAbility to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity./liliCommunicate effectively both verbally and written.
