Assisting with implementing a planned classroom curriculum for developmentally appropriate activities with Head Start children in the absence of the regular Teacher; carrying out daily activities; and completing all required paperwork in a timely, accurate fashion./span/li /ul p style="margin-left:24px;" /p p style="margin-left:24px;" /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Participate and offer suggestions in conferences, meetings, training, and recruitment activities. Work cooperatively with all staff, parents, and volunteers; be responsive to the challenge of providing integrated comprehensive services when the need arises./span/li /ul p style="margin-left:48px;" /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Encourage parent participation in the development and educational experiences, both in the home and in the classroom of children when applicable./span/li /ul p /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Be responsive to the challenge of providing integrated comprehensive services./span/li /ul p /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Work cooperatively with the Family Child Advocates in assessing and meeting the needs of enrolled children and their families. Assist and ensure that communication between Family Child Advocates, Teacher and parents is provided timely by delivering messages and written communication as requested./span/li /ul p /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Maintain a clean, safe, and age appropriate learning environment./span/li /ul p /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Assist the children in their daily routines of hand washing, tooth brushing, etc./span/li /ul p /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Assist with mealtime duties such as setting table, serving, eating and cleaning up./span/li /ul p /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Consult with teacher to gain an understanding of acceptable methods for handling discipline concerns./span/li /ul p style="margin-left:48px;" /p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;"Perform other duties as assigned./span/li /ul p style="margin-left:48px;" /ph4Qualifications/h4brpspan style="font-size:12pt;"Minimum Qualifications: Child Development Associate Degree and or a comparable equivalent of secondary education and work experience /span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt;"Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation/span/p
