This is a great career opportunity in an ideal location!/spanbr /br /span style="font-size: 10pt;"The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordinating of employee activities and outside contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds./span/pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Additional responsibilities include but aren't limited to:/spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Directs employees and outside contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs and ground maintenance. /spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Obtains bids for work from outside contractors. Assembles, analyzes and submits bids to superiors for action./spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Orders and receives supplies, appliances and equipment from vendors. /spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Coordinates work performed by outside vendors and inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and standards./spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Inspects facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment./spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules./spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew./spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Assists Property Manager in planning and administering maintenance budget./spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Participates in after hours and emergency coverage as assigned by supervisor./spanbr /br /span style="font-size: 10pt;"QUALIFICATIONS /spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Must have related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor./spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Prefer Yardi experience/spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Must have experience in all trades/spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Must have excellent written, communication and computer skills/spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Past supervisory experience a must/spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Current driver's license and auto insurance required./spanbr /span style="font-size: 10pt;"• Able to work weekends and overtime as job requires./spanbr /br /span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva; color: #000000;"Salary is $38.00-$40.00/hour.
