The ideal candidate for this position should possess recognized electrician skills aligned with industry, plant, and government standards, ensuring the highest level of competence in this specialized field./span/pp/ppbspanRole and Responsibilities/span/b/pullipspanPerform hands-on installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of various building electrical equipment, production machinery, and HVAC systems within a plant environment./span/p/lilipspanInstall electrical wiring and related equipment in accordance with local and National Electric codes for all building and plant equipment./span/p/lilipspanTroubleshoot and identify electrical issues in machines, equipment, controls, and electrical systems, including PLCs and VFDs, 480V./span/p/lilipspanMaintain, repair, and install electrical power systems./span/p/lilipspanDiagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems./span/p/lilipspanProvide electrical support for Combustion Equipment (Diesel and Natural Gas Generators) and Induction heating systems./span/p/lilipspanConduct tests and calibrations using electrical and electronic test equipment, including voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters./span/p/lilipspanBuild and install control panels./span/p/lilipspanExecute fabrication and assembly work using both hand and machine tools./span/p/lilipspanInterpret technical documents, such as blueprints and single-line drawings, for precise task execution./span/p/lilipspanMaintain meticulous records, documenting actions, testing results, observations, final diagnoses, and resolution steps for each job or situation./span/p/lilipspanWork independently and proactively addresses problem-solving, often with limited or no supervision./span/p/lilipspanManage supplies and inventories, including the ordering of materials as needed./span/p/lilipspanSafely operate material handling equipment./span/p/lilipspanMaintain a clean and organized work area./span/p/lilipspanProvide training and assistance to colleagues./span/p/lilipspanAdhere to safe work practices and uphold a secure work environment in compliance with company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements. Report policy, procedure, and guideline violations to the immediate supervisor./span/p/li/ulp/ppbspanMinimum Requirements/span/b/pullipHigh School Diploma or GED required./p/lilipElectrician with a minimum of 5 years#39; experience in industrial applications, including high voltage, 480V./p/lilipProficiency in industrial electrical systems, AC/DC motor controls, instrumentation circuits, PLCs, and VFDs./p/lilipFamiliarity with load interrupting switches, distribution transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, switching plans, and LOTO procedures for power circuits./p/lilipHands-on experience in assembly, repair, and fabrication of production/process equipment./p/lilipProficient in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of process equipment applications in a plant environment./p/lilipSkilled in using ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and aerial lifts for electrical work./p/lilipProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (email)./p/lilipEffective communication, training, teamwork, reading, writing, and mathematical skills./p/lilipWillingness to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required./p/lilipFamiliarity with the National Electrical Code and local codes./p/lilipCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in diverse indoor/outdoor environments with varying conditions./p/lilipAble to stand, kneel, bend, stoop, and reach overhead for extended periods./p/li/ulp/ppOur Electricians earn a starting hourly wage of b$39.00/b.
