Responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep, preventive maintenance, small repair and tasks, special projects, and communicating larger maintenance needs to the General Manager./strong/p pnbsp;/p pstrongWhat We Offer:/strong/p ul li401k, Medical, Dental amp; Vision Insurance full-time employees./li liCompany-wide discount - receive a 25% discount at over 40 company-affiliated restaurants!/li liEmployee Referral Bonus - refer a friend and get paid!/li liAdvancement - On-the-job skills training to prepare employees for upward mobility opportunities./li /ul pstrongDuties and Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liEnsure the best possible lodging experience for each guest, within the framework of brand operating guidelines./li liFollow grooming, uniform, and appearance guidelines./li liOrder and install small maintenance items as needed for repair, under direction of supervisor./li liComplete tasks and assignments on the daily Maintenance Checklist./li liComplete Maintenance Request Forms within 24 hours./li liComplete Preventive Maintenance program on a timely basis./li liRespond to maintenance emergencies timely, on a 24 hour call basis./li liAssist with carrying dishware items to rooms when requested./li liPractice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Blood borne Pathogens./li liPractice safe chemical handling as prescribed in Material Safety and Data Sheets./li liPerform other such duties assigned by supervisors to meet guest or operational needs./li liAdheres to all company policies amp; procedures amp; brand standards./li liCommon Guest Areas and Exterior ul liClears trash and empties property trash containers daily./li liSweeps and cleans sidewalks and stairs as needed (trash and weather related)./li liClears debris from parking lot, landscaping, and dumpster area daily./li liEnsures exterior building and grounds are clean./li /ul /li liCommon Guest Areas and Interior ul liPaints walls, ceilings, doors and window trim as needed./li liProvides Preventive Maintenance to specified number of rooms each day as directed by supervisor./li liEnsures Preventive Maintenance repairs in the following areas: ul liLighting;/li liElectrical circuits and wiring;/li liPlumbing;/li liHVAC;/li liGuest room walls;/li liAppliances;/li liDoors and locks;/li liFurniture;/li liCarpet (remove stains) and;/li liFloor coverings./li /ul /li liEnsures Guest Laundry washers, dryers, vending machines and common areas are cleaned twice daily./li liMaintains clean, organized maintenance workshop and storerooms./li /ul /li /ul h4Qualifications/h4brpstrongQualifications:/strong/p ul liAbility to bend at waist and work on knees./li liAbility to reach overhead./li liAbility to stand for lo ng periods of time./li liAbility to walk several flights of stairs./li liAbility to work outside in hot or cold weather./li liAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds./li liAbility to move heavy equipment./li liMust have good communication skills, Spanish speaking skills a plus./li liMust be team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that the brand#39;s highest standards are met. Each team member is considered a sales person for the property./li liMust be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
