Our mission is to have a positive social and economic impact on the community by providing a safe and reliable transportation option for all who live, work, or play in Sioux Falls./p pAs a strongMechanic/strongnbsp;at SAM by Via, you will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on buses, automotive equipment, and shop equipment.nbsp;/p pstrongWhat You’ll Do:/strong/p ul liDirect highly varied and complex operations related to vehicle and equipment service/li liRepair and/or replace any subsystem associated with heavy, medium, and/or light duty SAM coaches and automotive equipment/li liWork with other maintenance workers, drivers, and transportation supervisors/li liMaintain relationships with suppliers and vendors/li /ul pstrongWho You Are:/strong/p ul liPossess knowledge of the design, adjustment, operation, maintenance, and repair of systems and subsystems of SAM coaches and related shop equipment/li liAble to work on their feet eight hours per day, lift 100 pounds, and carry parts, equipment, and supplies/li liPossess excellent manual dexterity/li liHigh school diploma or GED equivalent, including trade or vocational school.
