Your new career path could begin in at one of our Wisconsin locations and provide a glimpse into a world of early childhood education services in our on-site QuadCare facilities./p pIn this Early Childhood Education Apprentice program you will receive paid hands-on experience working in early childhood education services. You will assist skilled QuadCare teachers with care and learning of children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old./p pOur training program includes exposure to:nbsp;Safe Work Practices, Child Development, Child Nutrition and Hygiene, Child Behavior Guidance, Planning and Implement Curriculum, Family Engagement, and Leadership and Professionalism. Additional areas of learning include state required training.nbsp;/p pWhile completing thenbsp;apprentice program you will receive regular wage increases at performance milestones./p pQuad will pay for your classes in Early Childhood Education at Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) or Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) and you will get paid while attending classes./p pQuad offers flexible hours working in the centers based on your school schedule./p pnbsp;strongRequired Qualifications:/strongnbsp;/p ul liMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally/li liBe able to receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects with or without reasonable accommodation/li liHave good verbal and written comprehension/li liHave the ability to thrive in a team environment, and work independently with minimal supervision/li liEnroll in Early Childhood Teacher Technical Diploma at Moraine Park Technical College or MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College)/li liMust be 18 years of age and hold a High School Diplomanbsp;/li liComplete and Pass DCF Caregiver Background checknbsp;/li liComplete DCF Fingerprinting Background checknbsp;/li liComplete Physical and TB test/li liConsent/pass a drug test at Quad/Mednbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/li /ul pstrongSpecial Provisions:/strongnbsp;/p ul liObtain Infant/Child AED, First Aid and CPR certification during the first three months of the program and maintain it throughout/li liComplete DCF certification requirements to provide care to children within the first six months of the program/li liRegister with the Wisconsin Registry within the first six months of the program and keep registration updated/li liSuccessfully complete Transition to Trainer in the final year of the program.nbsp;/li liObtain the related Early Childhood Teacher Technical diploma associated with this program prior to completion/li /ulh3About Company/h3divdiv We offer excellent benefits to eligible employees, including 401(k), holidays, vacations and more. /div div br/ /div div Quad is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
