Production Operator - Bloomington - Full-time

pDescription/ppPOSITION SUMMARY:/pulliTo operate lining and auxiliary equipment assigned by rotation schedule or supervisor. To properly perform order/material changes, and machine start-ups/shutdowns. This is a Safety Sensitive Position.nbsp;/li/ulpESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/pulliIdentifies issues, troubleshoots machines to produce quality parts, safely./liliPerforms order changes, enters startup data into DelmiaWorks system./liliEnters all downtime reason codes into ERP for tracking./liliVerifies raw materials meet work requirements./liliSamples and visually inspects production hourly; records quality accordingly and puts product on hold by entering process correction.nbsp;/liliInforms supervisor/lead of substandard production quality./liliChecks material status and calls for more materials if necessary./liliChecks that all machine sensors and guards are operating properly./liliInforms supervisor/lead of machine problems and fills out maintenance work requests./liliCleans machines and work areas of material, caps, oil, etc., cleans filers; performs scheduled sanitation duties.nbsp;/liliSegregates, inspects and sorts scrap material./liliRelieves Production Operators during breaks./liliCovers for absences/ vacations on other shifts on a voluntary basis./liliFollows all GMP guidelines./liliAdheres to all safety rules and procedures./liliCompletes all necessary documentation for all assigned machines. Follows manufacturing Work Order (BOM);/liliSorts through and visually inspects rejected finished goods/WIP, and raw materials./liliLoads cartons, tape rollers, labelers, and raw materials as needed for production amp; assists Mold Techs as directed by supervisor/manager./liliPerforms any other duties as assigned by supervision/management./li/ulpOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:/pulliAttends continuous improvement meetings./liliResponsible for following all Food Safety related policies and procedures./liliResponsible for following all Safety Rules, policies, procedures, and work instructions./liliFinishes appropriate proessing training for position./li/ulpRequirements/ppEDUCATION AND TRAINING:/pulliMinimum High School diploma or equivalent./liliGood communication skills./liliGood verbal and written skills; basic math skills./liliBasic Computer skills./liliScissor Lift training required./li/ulpEXPERIENCE:/pulliMechanical aptitude required./li/ul
