pstrongMaintenance Technician Essential Responsibilities:/strong/p
pPerforms, as directed, all necessary maintenance of the facility, equipment and grounds, in a timely and cost efficient manner./p
ul
liAccomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed./li
liPerforms the on-site service and repair of equipment./li
liMust meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times/li
liInterfaces with other departments./li
liFollows standard OSHA, EPA and Company safe practices on all work assignments./li
liIdentifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings./li
liMay be asked to train other employees/li
liIf no tech III is available may be asked to fill in as Team Lead./li
liAbility to read electrical amp; mechanical drawings and technical manuals./li
liPerforms other assignments as required./li
liResponsible to manage waste generated from any work that is performed./li

pstrongEducation/Experience:/strong/p

liHigh school diploma/GED and 3+ years maintenance experience OR/li
liHigh school diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience in a related field OR/li
liHigh school diploma/GED and 2-year technical school amp; 3+ years’ experience/li
liJourneyman’s Card from an accredited apprenticeship program preferred/li

pstrongRequired Skills/Competencies/strong:/p
ul
liKnowledge of manufacturing equipment./li
liKnowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)./li
liKnowledge of CMMS is a plus but not required if coming in from the outside. Internal candidates need to know the CMMS system./li
liProject Leader experiences a plus./li
liProven Communications Skills/li
liAbility to read prints and suggest modifications as required./li
liProven Electro/Mechanical skills./li
liKnowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum Systems and Robotic./li
liAbility to follow Safe Work Practices./li
liFull understanding of LOTO/li
liAbility to work independently with no supervision./li
liCapable of troubleshooting to the systems level./li
liFull knowledge of all PM’s/li
liMust be capable of pulling reports and entering data or pass downs into/from the CMMS system./li
linbsp;Remove hazardous waste HEPA filters / pre filters and put in proper bags and then put into properly labeled gay lords. And clean up the area after work is done./li
linbsp;Transport the full gay lords to the North Waste Cage. Contact WWT Associates when dropping off Gaylord./li
linbsp;Make sure Gaylord is properly label and dated. Work with WWT Associates and/or EHS to make sure the gay lords is properly labeled./li
linbsp;Move full AED drums back to the North Waste Cage. Make sure drum is properly labeled and dated. Drum cannot be over 882 lbs. Work with WWT Associates and/or EHS to make sure the drum is properly labeled./li
linbsp;Responsible for adherence to all safety procedures, good housekeeping standards, and the wearing of PPE./li
liNotify EHS Department if there are questions or concerns with the management of hazardous waste./li

liWill exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, push or pull on a seldom basis/li
liWill lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on a frequent basis/li
liWill lift up to 51 pounds on an occasional basis, according to work instructions./li
liWill lift up to 37 pounds on a frequent basis/li
liWill push or pull up to 27 pounds of force on an occasional basis./li
liWill push or pull up to 10 pounds of force on a frequent basis./li
